These solid steel shapers Dapping & Doming Blocks are generally used in the gold and silver industry for shaping various jewelry. However, we have incorporated them into the glass bead making process. They make absolutely excellent glass shaping tools.

All steel combination shaping block #575. 8 inch. Form marbles on the top, barrel & round shaped beads from the side slots, and oval shaped beads from the other side. For barrell beads, roll your hot glass parallel to the slot. Quckly forms a nice barrel shape. For round beads, hold your mandrel perpendicular to the slot and roll back and forth, like in the pictures below. For oval shapes, just push your glass on a mandrel into the oval shapes, flip and push again. Marble sizes from 3/16 to 3/4 inch. Round/Barrel slots 1/8 to 3/4 inch. 1.5 inches wide. Ovals are 3/8 x 3/4 to 1/2 x 1 inch. $38.95

3 x 3 inch - 1/8" Brass Plate Double Constricting Tool. 60 degree angle. Inside sides are 1.5 inches on the larger one, and 3/4 inches on the smaller one. Distance from the bottom of the crotch to the top of the black bracket is 3/4 inches for the larger one and 1.25 inches for the smaller one. Edged inside the crotch.
