An important note about shipping and glass coverage: In order to keep shipping fees to a minimum, we use US Mail Flat rate boxes with most orders. They are normally the cheapest way to ship. However, occasionally, some glass does break, since there is minimal room for padding with these boxes. This broken glass is still usable (unless it is crushed). If you wish to keep shipping fees to a minimum and don’t mind occasional minor breakage, this is a great shipping method. This shipping method we refer to as “Economy” in your shopping cart. The shopping cart will use this as the default shipping method. 

All "Economy" packages are covered if they are lost. However, in order to keep glass prices as low as possible, we don't cover glass that is broken in these flat rate boxes, unless it is crushed beyond use.  

In order to cover your glass for breakage, we need to ship in larger boxes with much more padding. This will cost you more to ship. If you wish us to ship your glass in larger boxes, and cover it for possible breakage, please choose that option when you check out in the shopping cart. This option to cover breakage is called “Priority” in the shopping cart.

 

GLASS TUBES - ARE ALWAYS COVERED IF THEY ARE DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING. PLEASE SEND US A NOTE. WE MAY REQUEST A PICTURE OF THE DAMAGE IF WE CAN RECOUP FROM INSURANCE COVERAGE.

SECURE DROP OFF LOCATION - Parcel theft is an ever growing problem. Please provide a secure location where the post office can drop off your parcel without it being stolen. Bolted down hard boxes that the mail person can drop the parcels into and then lock are ideal. Or, you can request that we have the post office hold your parcel for pick up. You can also request a "Signature Required" delivery.

The post office now tracks deliveries by GPS. So, the exact location of a delivery can now be determined. The post office will do a search upon request to determine if a "delivered" but lost parcel was indeed delivered to the address specified. If it has been, we can no longer replace such orders. So please do your part to be sure parcels can be delivered securely. The only way for us to cover you in this situation would be if you choose "Signature Required". It will cost you $3 and will require someone to sign for the parcel upon delivery.

EXPEDITE MY ORDER - $8. Expedited orders ship within one business day. You may also wish to choose the priority option for shipping at check out. 
 

Shipping Fees - please place your items into the shopping cart and click on the "calculate" button. Your shipping fees will appear. We try to estimate shipping fees as closely as possible, plus the cost of insurance and a few dollars for packaging material. We also look for the least expensive but safest way to ship. If you end up paying excessive shipping fees, we will refund the overages.

Often, with international orders, the shipping calculator will estimate high. Excessive overages will be refunded. To check rates, please click here www.usps.com

International Orders - Before placing an order, please understand there may be import tariffs or taxes assessed by your local government. These fees are not part of the shipping cost and cannot be calculated prior to shipment. We do not cover these fees as they are paid directly to your governing agency and are not part of the transaction. If you have any questions regarding the tariffs, please contact your local government or shipping agency prior to placing an order.

European Orders - In addition to the tariffs charged on international orders, please be aware there is a new "VAT" tax being charged to all imports entering your country. Please contact your local government if you have any questions about this tax and what the cost will be prior to ordering. We do not process this tax and it will be charged upon receipt of your shipment.

 

Our Guarantee: If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with any of our products, or if any of the products you receive are defective, please return them for a refund within 30 days of receipt (unless otherwise specified in the product listing). Products must be returned in a new, or near new, condition, with only minimal use enough to determine that you are dissatisfied or that the product is defective. Please don't return items that have been well used (unless defective and under warranty). We do NOT cover shipping fees either way for returns (unless for defective products within 30 days, or defective products under warranty during the warranty period). We do NOT cover losses from lost or damaged packages back to us. Please pack the products well and insure the packages. We DO cover postage both ways for returns of defective items and items damaged during shipment to you, and we DO cover products lost in transit to you. We do not generally charge a restocking fee for returns, unless for unusual cases. This is left up to our discretion.
