What can you use soft glass tubes for? |
|
Soft glass tubes can be used for any hollow small object, such as hollow beads, tree ornaments, hollow pendants with metal flakes inside and other hollow items. I use the clear or other transparent tubes to put twisties inside and make really neat beads. |

Tubes are approximately 10mm wide with a 2mm wall. They are about 8 - 12 inches long. There are about 12-14 tubes per pound. Keep in mind, although these tubes are quite uniform, they are hand pulled. So there will be some irregularities, some bubbles, and some very occasional kiln stones. |
|
|
|
For best results, we recommend pre-heating all glass tubes before melting them in the torch. Our rod warmer is ideal for pre-heating. |
